FBV Morro Bay Joint Venture (a joint venture between Overland Contracting Inc. and J.R. Filanc Construction Company, Inc.) will be issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) packages in support of the construction of a 1 MGD water reclamation facility (Project) for the City of Morro Bay located at 555 South Bay Blvd, Morro Bay, CA.

 

The subcontract packages that will be available to bid include: shotcrete, rebar, concrete (structural), concrete (curbs/gutters), masonry, pre-engineered structures, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, insulation, doors, windows, metal wall framing, drywall, tile, painting & coating, decorative fencing, asphalt paving, landscaping, hoist & crane, signage.

 

Firms interested in receiving RFPs are required to submit company name and contact information, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification(s) (if applicable) and RFP Packages of interest (detailed above) to the Project mailbox at FBVMorroBay@BlackandVeatch.onmicrosoft.com no later than October 4, 2019.  Additional information may be requested at that time.

This Project is partially financed by the California State Revolving Fund (CASRF) and therefore, all firms must adhere to the Clean Water and Drinking Water SRF program requirements. Iron and steel products shall comply with the USEPA American Iron and Steel requirements.  It is the policy of FBV to encourage equal opportunity in its construction, consultant, material and supply contracts.  Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate and non-DBE firms are encouraged to utilize DBE firms as sources of goods and services.  Bidders must submit documentation of the affirmative steps taken to utilize DBEs in the work and documentation of its intended use of DBEs in the work prior to contract award.
