Full-time position available with KCMO’s Human Resources Department, Labor & Employee Relations Division, 414 E. 12 th St.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Conducts investigations into internal EEO related complaints and
allegations of Harassment/ Discrimination/ EEO Policy violations in accordance with
City policy. Advises complainant (orally and in writing) of the City’s EEO complaint
process where applicable. Interprets routine to semi-complex City/Department policies,
employment laws, CBA provisions, etc.
Submits written investigation findings to the EEO Manager for review. Assists in
developing and facilitating EEO related training for supervisors and employees.
Develops data and metric reports. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills and the ability to effectively facilitate discussions between individuals and groups
with differing opinions and articulate decisions to all parties in a clear and concise manner.
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelors degree and 3 years of progressively responsible, professional
experience in business or public sector administration, with at least 2 years at the
level of the City’s Senior Administrative Assistant; OR an equivalent combination of
qualifying education and experience, with at least 3 years at the level of the City’s Senior
Administrative Assistant. Preference given to applicants possessing experience in
conducting EEO and/or internal employment investigations.
Salary Range:
$4,065-$6,636/month. Application
