Training / Program Coordinator II
Coastal Carolina University invites applications for the position of Training/Program Coordinator II (Program Coordinator II) in the Office of Training, Development and Service Excellence. Reporting to the Executive Director of Training, Development and Service Excellence, this position will be responsible serving as primary facilitator for training; delivering presentations, and providing leadership for faculty/staff training and professional development programs and soft skills training.
Duties include, but are not limited to: creating, facilitating, and evaluating supervisory training programs (in person and online), including the selection and organization of content, delivery methods and materials needed with a primary focus of enhancing professional development campus wide; participating in the design, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of the Leadership Institute training program including the coordination of speakers and facilitators, marketing and promotions, and managing the various leadership tracks; developing, coordinating, leading, and evaluating employee training, professional development and leadership programs; preparing short and long range training schedules for the monthly/annual trainings provided through Training, Development and Service Excellence; designing, developing, coordinating, implementing, delivering and evaluating a comprehensive onboarding platform to include specific programs, processes, and tools to help new employees assimilate into their roles at CCU to promote a healthy and engaging experience for new employees to ensure retention of top recruited talent; exploring, building, and consulting a network of campus partners, subject matter experts to provide course content and training curriculum as needed by the university stakeholders and employees; researching, adopting, and innovating learning strategies based on best practices for facilitation, engagement and reinforcement; providing exceptional customer service to all constituents, including, but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large; participating in the Professional Development Advisory group and providing feedback, ideas and support; participating and assisting in advertising, marketing, and promotional activities related to Training, Development and Service Excellence training programs; performing related special projects and other duties as assigned by the President, Vice President of Career Services, and Executive Leadership and Executive Director of Training, Development and Service Excellence; and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and related experience is required. Master's degree and three (3) years of experience directly related to the area of employee training and professional development is preferred.
