The Cortez Clam Factory, referred to as

“ The Clam “ by locals, is a friendly honky tonk located just a mile from the historic “Cortez Fishing Village“.

Founded in May, 2010, by owners Chef Randall Ellis, David Sadler, and John Medico, our establishment has evolved into one of Manattee County’s favorite food, music, and fun locations. With over a hundred years combined of food and beverage experience, we offer fine dinning quality at local, reasonable prices. Serving great seafood, house smoked Barbeque and more… it’s no wonder we are known as a “Five Star Dive Bar"

The Clam Factory specializes in House-Smoked BBQ and fresh Seafood. Our idea is to simply provide the best quality food at the most affordable prices.

Our menu includes many dishes that owner Chef Randy has been perfecting for many years. Taking pride in our food and service is our number one priority. We also offer specials almost every night of the week including our famous Saturday Steak Night or Lobster Wednesday.
