An opportunity is presently available for a Chief Financial Officer with Good Shepherd Communities, located in Binghamton NY. The CFO will lead financial strategies of GSC, a regional health leader and system that features a parent organization, three operating entities and a Foundation. Levels of Care at the three campuses include Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.
As the primary executive of system finances, the CFO will oversee a $30M+ operating budget, and will report directly to the CEO. This executive will work alongside the CEO, COO, Department Heads and board members to strategize the organization’s revenue and expenses, positioning the company for future growth and success. The CFO will have a high degree of input relating to financial policies and their effects on finances, future investment in additional facility construction projects, and lead the system’s financial stability in a continually changing healthcare climate.
The CFO will effectively communicate with managers that are assigned to this executive position as direct reports. A high knowledge of State and Federal regulations, third party payer systems and a knowledge of the healthcare market within the State of New York will be essential to this position. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is required and experience with a multi-facility organization is necessary.
