Maintenance Superintendent
Hitachi Zosen Inova USA, a Leader in Energy from Waste facilities is looking for a superior individual to head up the maintenance of their first Anaerobic Digestion facility in the US, located in San Luis Obispo, CA.
The Maintenance Superintendent is directly responsible for all maintenance activities at the facility, and is cooperatively accountable with other management personnel for maintaining continued operation of the facility in compliance with established safety regulations and procedures, production schedules, output requirements and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities will include: Management the facility's maintenance activities through planning and execution of maintenance activities and direct supervision of maintenance subcontractors, insuring the effective execution of their job responsibilities; coordinates the facility maintenance activities with operations priorities and defines, analyzes and repairs equipment and machinery; provide technical expertise in upgrading of equipment and development of systems and design changes for the enhancement of overall plant reliability, efficiency and economy; and oversees the planning and assures coordination of all participating plant personnel and outside contractors in all major projects and scheduled plant or system overhauls. A Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial plant equipment and systems. Specific expertise in resource recovery material handling is preferred. Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred. Position includes full benefits (health, dental, vision) paid vacation, sick leave, 401K with 5% company match.
