Financial Analyst - Tax
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst join our finance team and assist with the preparation of the University’s annual financial statements in accordance with GASB standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations, including Sales, Innkeepers, and nonresident alien taxes. Additional responsibilities include monthly and year-end reconciliations, preparing management reports, and supporting the annual audit by the State Board of Accounts. The position reports to the Director of Financial Services and has a supervisor role. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, and experience with governmental or higher education accounting.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related degree and 1-3 years of related work experience.
