Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising and participating in the administration of enterprise servers and appliances.
Responsibilities:
Manages enterprise servers and appliances. (40%)
Commissions new serves and decommissions old servers.
Maintains current servers.
Manages back-ups.
Responds to cyber-security incidents.
Reviews and responds to daily Intrusion Prevention Summary reports.
Manages user accounts. (30%)
Manages employee and student user accounts.
Resets passwords.
Provisions and deprovisions accounts.
Troubleshoots user access to external services.
Creates, updates, and runs scripts to update user accounts.
Manages file share permissions.
Performs other IT management duties. (20%)
Collaborates with peers and management to complete projects.
Supervises and directs the work of assigned personnel.
Monitors and responds to email.
Responds to technical support tickets.
Performs a variety of related duties as assigned. (10%)
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required. Baccalaureate degree preferred.
