LADC, LADC -Temp, LPC, Social Worker or Dual License Counselor for Adolescent Clients
The Maple Lake Recovery Centers' Primary Counselor provides comprehensive chemical dependency services for assigned client caseload directing all clinical care for identified clients, supporting CD Technician staff and House Managers as the primary member of the interdisciplinary treatment team for the identified client.
Meet and engage assigned clients on day of admission, provide excellent internal and external customer service and support, providing education and prevention to referrals, MLRC staff, and family members, anticipating problems when possible.
Demonstrate competency applying methods and materials of 12 Core Functions, 12 step support groups, ASAM principles, techniques in assessment, treatment planning, group, individual, family therapies, lectures, and knowledge of mandated reporting requirements for vulnerable adults and child maltreatment including prenatal exposure to chemicals.
Complete counseling and case management duties for primary caseload including, but not limited to; individualized comprehensive assessments, summaries, utilization reviews, charting, treatment plans, group and individual counseling sessions, facilitating specialty activities, weekly updates/reviews, patient discharges, continuing care plans, and discharge summaries.
