Faculty Position in Biomedical/Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dartmouth Engineering seeks to fill multiple open-rank, tenure-line faculty positions at the intersection of a thriving multidisciplinary nexus of Biomedical and Electrical and Computer Engineering. These positions will promote collaborative science within the broader Dartmouth community, including Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Geisel School of Medicine, Norris Cotton Cancer Center, and Computer Science.
Applicants will have a doctorate in engineering or a related science field and a demonstrated potential to lead an externally-funded research program to pursue transformational advances in biomedical applications with translational potential. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with expertise in Biomedical Engineering applications. Some example applications of interest include, but are not limited to, wearable and implantable devices and systems, medical imaging system design, surgical devices and medical robotics, and biomedical applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The candidate will be a gifted teacher with motivation and expertise that complements Thayer's interdisciplinary approach to engineering education.
