The Department of Modern and Classical Languages within the School of Humanities at University of Lynchburg invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in American Sign Language for fall 2020/spring 2021. Candidates must have a master's degree in the field of American Sign Language & Interpreter Education (ASL&IE), or a master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the discipline, and possess demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and the ability to work with a diverse student body. ASLTA certification, Advanced or
Superior Level on SLPI: ASL or similar proficiency assessment preferred.
Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
