Community Care Physicians, P.C. – Full Time
The Network Engineer is responsible for the administration of a large enterprise information systems environment. The enterprise is comprised of physical and virtualized systems utilizing storage area networks, application delivery technologies, and high-speed infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS required. Appropriate experience may be substituted for a degree
• Two to three year’s work experience in an IT department in a primary health care practice or the equivalent
• Five years’ experience in administering enterprise information systems
• A+ and Microsoft certifications are required
• Three years’ experience in networking, application troubleshooting, hardware maintenance including: computers, printers, and associated peripherals
• Knowledge of Citrix, and Virtualization technologies is preferred
• Understanding of basic VOIP and telecom technologies is preferred
• Knowledge of storage area networks is preferred
• General experience of Microsoft Exchange is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft, PowerShell and command line scripting
• Knowledge of Apple OSX and IOS is preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with the use of legacy and current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server, Mobile/Workstation) and Microsoft Office applications is required
• Knowledge of general computer security, and HIPAA policies and procedures
• Experience in creating and maintaining quality technical and business documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required to communicate both internally and externally, as well as the ability to maintain effective cooperative working relationships
• Experience in working with third party vendors for support and installations is preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
